THURSO WEST CHURCH - UNRESTRICTED CALL

Thurso West is a friendly and caring church where all are welcome to join us in traditional but innovative worship.

We are looking for a minister to lead us in our worship.

We need:

  • a parish minister to lead, inspire and nurture us on our continuing journey of faith and mission
  • someone with the ability to stimulate and encourage growth within our congregation and take us forward in the 21st century
  • if you are that minister, Thurso West, with its receptive and willing congregation is looking for you
  • a vacancy has arisen in January 2019 as our European Partner Minister had to return to the Czech Republic

Our people are our church, and we would like to tell you about us and Thurso West. You can then decide if you wish to take up the challenge of leading/joining us in Fellowship.

Like every other church we face problems - an ageing congregation; numbers falling year on year; a gap in our age profile of the younger generation. But we are open to change, willing to work

with our minister to try to reverse these trends.

We have a dedicated worship group; a congregation in good heart and looking forward enthusiastically to the future under a new Ministry.

More details are available in the Thurso West Parish Profile or from the Clerk to the Nominating Committee, Mr Brian Johnston, 1 Hoy Terrace, Thurso, KW14 7PH (email brian.johnston1705@gmail.com)
